The Bayreuth Institute for Macromolecular Research (BIMF), the Bayreuther Center for Colloids and Interfaces (BZKG), and the Sonderforschungsbereich 481 provide access to large, jointly used instruments such as electron microscopes (TEM, REM, rheology, X-ray structure analysis, surface characterization). Additional analytical equipment is used in close cooperation with the departments of Macromolecular Chemistry II, der Physical Chemistry I and Physical Chemistry II. We also maintain a close collaboration with the department of Polymer Materials.
